Established in 1964, Citizens’ Ambulance Service is a nonprofit corporation that provides Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and non-emergency ambulance and van service to the residents of Indiana County and portions of Armstrong, Westmoreland and Clearfield Counties. Our professional medical care staff is always on call -- just dial 911 and ask for Citizens'.
Twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, Citizens’ Ambulance Service will provide emergency medical ambulance services when we are called by 911 communication centers. Non-emergency ambulance and medical van transports are handled by our in-house dispatch team.

To offer an array of services to nearly 90,000 residents within our coverage area, Citizens’ maintains a fleet of 13 ambulances, 13 medical transport vans, nine wheelchair vans and four walk-on vehicles.
